Developmental Psychiatry Physician Assistant Student Rotation

The Lee Specialty Clinic’s Developmental Psychiatry Physician Assistant Student Clinical Rotation is a six-week, clinical immersion externship developed in affiliation with Sullivan University’s Physician Assistant (PA) Masters of Science Program. Available to PA students in their senior (second) year of training, the rotation is designed to provide the PA student with hands-on experience in the provision of psychiatric services to patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The PA student will learn to function as an important member of the Behavioral team, working alongside psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, and board-certified behavior analysts.

The externship includes a mixture of clinical, written, and on-line curricula.
