Osteopathic Medical Student Predoctoral (3rd-year and 4th-year) Rotation
In affiliation with Pikeville College of Osteopathic Medicine, the Lee Specialty Clinic offers 3rd-year and 4th-year predoctoral osteopathic medical students block rotations in Developmental Medicine.
The rotations are designed to provide medical student with hands-on experience in the provision of medical services to patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The students learn to function as an important member of the interdisciplinary team, working alongside physicians, nurse practitioners, dentists, psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, physical, occupational and speech therapists, and board-certified behavior analysts.
The medical student is also able to participate in the weekly Clinical Protocol meetings.
