What are cookies and browser storage?

Website functions and security

Website software may use cookies or browser storage to support sign-in, security, form functions, and preferences. Staff sign-in and administration can use additional cookies that are not needed for ordinary public browsing.

Optional analytics and advertising

Optional visitor analytics is disabled. The website’s current configuration does not include Google Analytics or the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. Disabling visitor analytics does not stop the technical requests and server logs needed to deliver and protect the website.

Videos you choose to play

Our YouTube videos display a still image before playback. Selecting a video opens a privacy prompt. The embedded YouTube player loads only after you choose Allow YouTube and play. Choosing Not now or closing the prompt leaves the player unloaded, and you can continue browsing normally.

If you allow a video, your browser connects to Google/YouTube and shares your IP address, browser details, and information about the video. We use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player, but YouTube may still set or read cookies or other browser storage and process information under Google’s Privacy Policy. The player is configured to send the website origin rather than the full referring page address.

Your choice applies only to that viewing; our video prompt does not save a lasting permission or add a consent cookie. Choose Close video to stop playback and remove the player. Opening another video, or reopening the same video, asks again. Closing the player does not erase data already sent to YouTube or cookies it may already have created.

Fonts and image delivery

The website also requests fonts from Google Fonts and images through our image-delivery provider. These requests send technical information, such as your IP address and browser request details, to the provider delivering the resource. These requests are separate from optional visitor analytics.

Your choices

You can use your browser’s privacy settings to review, block, or delete cookies and other site data. Blocking some storage may affect sign-in or other website features. YouTube choices are offered at each video, rather than through a sitewide cookie-preference panel.

Cookies from earlier visits may remain in your browser even after a tracking service has been disabled. You can remove them through your browser’s site-data settings. Deleting browser cookies does not delete information previously received by a service.

Information you submit to the clinic
